7. Putting It All Together.

The following is a four-chord progression which gives you an opportunity to practice a variety of pivots. Notice that when going from the end of the progression back to the first chord (Dm to Am), there is no pivoting involved. Even though one of the notes is the same between Dm and Am, (2nd fret on the 'G' string), this note is played with a different finger for each chord. Hence, you will need to lift every finger off of the fretboard when cycling back to the beginning.
